Make a Referral

Referrals to inpatient mental health services offered by Miller-Dwan Behavioral Health are accepted from:

• the individual seeking help
• family members
• physicians
• therapists
• social service professionals
• school personnel
• the courts
• clergy
• anyone else concerned about a person with a behavioral health issue

To refer a patient, or for more information, please call the Referral Center at (218) 723-0099 or (888) 826-0099. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Outpatient services

People may refer themselves to the mental health services such as individual and couples therapy, and psychological testing. They may also receive a referral from a qualified mental health professional.
