Pediatric rehabilitation
Miller-Dwan Rehabilitation Center at SMDC Medical Center offers a
comprehensive rehabilitation program for children, from infants to age 18. We care
for children who have had accidents, became ill, or were born with an impairment
resulting in functional limitations. Each child’s program and treatment are based
on his or her unique needs.
We offer the region’s only pediatric programs that have been accredited by the highly
respected Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation (CARF). Our four accredited
programs are:
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (Family-Centered), accredited since 1998
- Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation, accredited
since 1992
- Brain Injury Outpatient Rehabilitation, accredited since 1992
- Spinal Cord System of Care, accredited since 1992
